On December 3, 2024, the chairman of the Synodal Department for Cooperation with Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies and Synodal Committee for Cooperation with Cossacks Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk presented the Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov with a patriarchal award — the Order of Prince Daniel of Moscow II degree.
Holy Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia honored the head of the region with this high ecclesiastical award in recognition of his assistance to the Stavropol eparchy.
The head of the Stavropol Metropolitan Church was accompanied by Bishop Nicholas of Georgievsk Praskoveisky. During the meeting, the head of the region and the new ruling bishop of the Georgievskaya eparchy met. Vladyka Nikolay also presented Vladimir Vladimirovich with an icon of the Mother of God «Vsetsaritsa».
In the course of the meeting the participants discussed the implementation of joint projects in the region social ministry, education, development of Orthodox culture, upbringing of the younger generation.
