From December 3 to 6, 2024 in the Vologda Kremlin with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia will be held the events of the exhibition-forum «Joy of the Word».

- bringing of the ark with the relics of the relics of Blessed Knn. Peter and Fevronia from the Patriarchal suburbs of the churches of b. Nikolo-Perervinsky Monastery in Moscow. Moscow;
- official opening of the Orthodox book exhibition-forum «Joy of the Word»
- conference on the theme «Education in the family. Traditional values»;
- presentation of new books by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, published by the Publishing House of the Moscow Patriarchate;
- presentation of the publishing project «The Gospel of Dostoevsky»;
- presentation of the book «God with us. Life and spiritual exploits of Prince A.V. Suvorov» author — historian, culturologist, laureate of the Patriarchal Literature Prize K.P. Kovalev-Sluchevsky;
- presentation of the International Children's and Youth Literary Contest named after I.S. Shmelev «Summer of the Lord» .
- seminar on the problems of formation of Orthodox literature collections in state and municipal libraries, as well as on the forms and ways of interaction between church and state library systems;
- meetings with Orthodox theologian, well-known Russian researcher of modern religious sectarianism, writer A.L. Dvorkin;
- meetings with the winner of the Patriarchal Literature Prize writer V.N. Nikolaev;
- intellectual youth game brain-ring;
- book exposition of Orthodox literature .
The exhibition-forum «Joy of the Word» — an educational project of the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church. The main goals of the exhibition — saturation of regional book markets with quality book products that strengthen spiritual, cultural and moral traditions, creation of new information opportunities to influence in the sphere of culture and education, promotion of spiritual and moral enlightenment of the younger generation, revival of interest in literature and reading among citizens.
Vologda residents and guests are invited to visit the events and book exposition of modern Orthodox literature, which will be presented in the Joseph Building of the Vologda Kremlin from December 4 to 5.
