On November 27, 2024, the Feast Day of the Apostle Philip, the first and only temple of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Arabian Peninsula was celebrated in Sharjah (UAE).

The festive Liturgy in the Church of Apostle Philip was led by Bishop Alexy of Baku and Azerbaijan. His Eminence was served by Archimandrite Alexander (Zarkeshev), rector of the temple, Archpriest Dionisy Svechnikov, secretary of the Bakin Diocese, Archpriest Konstantin Orlov, Archdeacon Konstantin Markovich and Deacon Alexei Kostin.
The liturgical hymns were sung by the parish choir.
