On November 22, 2024, the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk hosted a meeting of the Coordinating Council on cooperation between the Belarusian Orthodox Church and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus with the participation of Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Veniamin and Minister of Culture Anatoly Markevich.
The meeting was held at the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk.
The distinguished guests were welcomed by Anna Kononova, Director General of the National Art Museum.

The session was opened by Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Veniamin: «We have gathered again to consider the most pressing issues of our interaction. The consequences of this choice, made by a person brought up in a certain cultural environment, have a profound impact on both the person and the on the whole society».

- Propriest John Zadorozhin, chairman of the Synodal Department for Culture and Church Art of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, director of the Minsk Theological School, with a report «On the tasks and problems in coordinating the implementation of joint projects of the Belarusian Orthodox Church and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus» .
Afterwards, there was a discussion of the reports and other topical issues of interaction between the Belarusian Orthodox Church and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus.
At the end, Minister of Culture Anatoly Markevich presented Metropolitan Veniamin with a Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus for his significant contribution to the preservation of national culture.
