On November 21, 2024, in the spiritual and educational center named after Protopresbyter Alexander Zhelobovsky of the Cathedral of the Venerable Athanasius and Theodosius of Cherepovets in Cherepovets, those responsible for youth ministry in the Cherepovets Diocese met with the deputy chairman of the Synodal Department for Youth Affairs, Priest Alexei Solovyov and Head of the Coordination Center for Youth Ministry in the Northwest Federal District, Chairman of the Youth Affairs Department of the St. Petersburg Diocese Archpriest Konstantin Golovatsky.
The event was attended by noblemen, rectors of churches of the Cherepovets Diocese, heads and staff of diocesan departments and commissions, employees of spiritual education centers, Sunday school teachers, representatives of youth associations.

The meeting was also addressed by the head of the Youth Department of the Cherepovets Diocese, Priest Roman Zaitsev, and the head of the Vologda Department of the Organization of Russian Young Scouts Marina Kursakova, who spoke about the emergence and development in the Cherepovets Diocese of the scout movement as a form of work with youth.
