In the framework of the trip Metropolitan Nikandr held a meeting with the mayor of the city Khas-Magomed Kadyrov and Archbishop Varlaam of Makhachkala and Grozny. The topic of the meeting was the start of construction of an Orthodox church in a new neighborhood of Grozny named after Russian President V.V. Putin. Putin.
