November 11, 2024 marked six years since the resumption of regular divine services at the Church of the Equal Apostles Constantine and Helen at the summer residence of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Sunday service on the eve of this day was celebrated by Priest Georgy Sergeev, who is responsible for organizing the pastoral care of the Moscow Patriarchate in the territory of the Republic of Turkey. At the end of the Liturgy, Father George congratulated the community on the sixth anniversary of the resumption of liturgical life, emphasizing the importance of Eucharistic communion in the bosom of the Moscow Patriarchate, and especially noted the care of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia for the flock in Turkey.
In her response, Svetlana Derin, the representative of the congregation, on behalf of all the parishioners, thanked the Holy Fathers for their care of the flock at such a difficult time in the history of the Church.
